TIME TO TAKE YOUR BOAT OR PWC OUT OF NEEDLES STORAGE TO PLAY ON THE COLORADO RIVER OR LAKE?
Are you planning on getting your boat or PWC out of Needles boat storage and going to the Colorado River or Lake?
Make sure you're ready. Before you put your boat or PWC in the water there are some things you should do.
Know the Laws. Do you have any or all the permits and licenses that are required by law? don't Forget to bring your current registration and decals.
Know how to be safe on the water. A course from the U.S. Coast Guard is a good place to start. You can check them out online www.uscgboating.org
Bonus Maintenance Tips: Check your boat or PWC for corrosion, inspect all moving parts, propeller blades, and steering mechanism. Do regular maintenance. It's always a good idea to change the oil and other fluids at the start of the season. It would also be a good idea to change the fuel if you did not drain the fuel or add stabilizer the last time you used it. Inspect filter, belts and hoses, replace any that show cracks or other signs of ware. Check the electrical system, battery, alternator, and starter. Don't forget to check everything on the trailer as well.
