What To Do in Lake Havasu Thanksgiving Weekend?

Between Laughlin and Lake Havasu on Thanksgiving weekend, you could have one fun time! Think about staying in the Needles area and then you would have access to both Laughlin and Lake Havasu! Below is a list of activities by each day of the Thanksgiving weekend:
- Thanksgiving - November 24th..."Thanksgiving Turkey Dive"! This is a great way to burn calories early on so that you can feast in the afternoon! Go to site 5 on the island (591 Beachcomber Blvd.) and see if you can find the rubber chicken! The finder gets a prize!!!! Contact Kathy Wedig at 928-855-9400 or go to techdivinglimited.com
- Friday, November 25th.....Havasu Art Guild Christmas Holiday Shoppe located at the Aquatic/Community Center at 100 Park Ave. in Lake Havasu. This is an annual showcase of arts & crafts and a great chance to do some holiday shopping!
- Later in the same evening (6-10 P.M.)....The 17th ANNUAL FESTIVAL
OF LIGHTS! This is the first night (it will run until January 1st) where over 650,000 lights will set the Bridgewater Channel aglow...it is breathtaking! Stroll under the London Bridge along the walkway or take a night cruise through the Channel...taking in the sparkling lights as they reflect and glisten off the lake waters! This is FREE and take advantage of the free parking underneath the London Bridge in the English Village or the London Bridge Resort and Convention Center.
- Saturday, November 26th (6 P.M Nevada time)....The 4th ANNUAL RIVER OF LIGHTS BOAT PARADE in Laughlin. The parade is
sponsored by the Aquarius Casino Resort and Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort. You can enjoy the sight from your hotel windows or grab a hot toddy and join hundres of spectators on the Laughlin Riverwalk to view this breathtaking spectacle up close. All boats are wlecome to participate! If you have a boat, start decorating and join in the fun! Click here for registration information. Overall best decorated boat winner prizes are: 1st place ($1,000), 2nd Place ($500), 3rd Place ($250) and 4th Place ($100)
And this final note is for our boat tenants at All Seasons Storage.....if you come out for Thanksgiving weekend, don't forget to stop by and add some fuel stabilizer to your boat! It may be awhile before you return again!
