Park Moabi....We have several new tenants at All Seasons Storage and so we thought that we would introduce them to several places that are near Needles!  Park Moabi is one of the best places to stay and it is located just 11 miles southeast of Needles....right on the River!  There are actually two different types of facilities to stay at in Park Moabi.  The original site is the Moabi Regional Park and just recently, Pirates Cove was built in Park Moabi.  This article will tell a little about both places!

  • How do you get there?  There are two options....launch your boat at Needles Marina or Jack Smith Park and head south on the river about 11 miles.  The second option is to drive to it.  It is located right off of Highway 40 approximately 11 miles southeast of Needles.
  • What can I do there?  The options are endless!  Pirates Cove offerspark moabi gorgoeus cabins to rent, RV sites and a restaurant!  The Park Moabi Regional Park has RV hook ups, riverside campgrounds, a marina, swimming, boating, softball, volleyball, horseshoe pits, fire rings...you name it!
  • Do I need to bring my own boat?  The Park Moabi Park has a boat launch, gas dock and slip rentals for your boat.  However, they also can arrange for power boat, canoe and kayak rentals!
  • Can I fish there?  You betcha!  Moabi provides ideal fishing conditionspark moabi for black and striped bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish and trout.  Through a multiagency fishery enhancement program, artificial habitat is being developed to increase the game fish population and additional shore access is being constructed for fishermen around the river!  They even have a bait shop there!

Park Moabi is definitely worth exploring!  If you have been there, let us know your comments!  And you might also want to read our blog on Pirate's Cove....an amazing place!
